Alejandra Abusada, Vice President of Development
Alejandra Abusada is the Vice President of Development at the Supreme Twins Foundation, where she leads the organization’s development strategy, spearheads fundraising initiatives, manages the development team and day-to-day operations, and serves as a key ambassador for the mission to build a more inclusive and supportive community for individuals with disabilities and their families. She brings 12+ years of experience in philanthropy, education development, and international project management, with a strong focus on mental health advocacy. Most recently, she served as Director of Development at the Miami Dade College Foundation, securing seven-figure gifts, forging strategic partnerships, and expanding community engagement. Previously based in Washington, D.C., she managed U.S. Department of Labor and Department of Justice initiatives in Mexico and Colombia. A social entrepreneur, she founded Mami Linda in Peru, sits on the board of MIR Charities in the Dominican Republic, and is active with the Young Professionals of Alfalit International. Abusada holds an M.S. in Human Development from the University of Pennsylvania and a B.A. in Clinical Psychology.
